The Black Badge Spectre is the most powerful car Rolls-Royce has ever made.

That fact alone will be enough for many of RR's most loyal customers to reach for their wallets.

By tweaking the software of the standard Spectre, Rolls-Royce has teased an additional 55 kW and 175 Nm of torque out of the dual-motor electric drivetrain.

The headline figures are now 485 kW (659 PS) and a mountainous 1,075 Nm of torque, which is enough to lower the 0-60 mph sprint from 4.4 to 4.1 seconds. Not bad, considering the two-door, four-seat giant weighs a little over 2,900 kg.

More interesting is how maximum thrust is only unlocked by selecting sport mode and engaging launch control.
