The ASICS Gel-Nimbus series is very popular among runners for the superior cushioning it provides, arguably among the best performance shoes with a cushioning focus available in India. The Nimbus 28 continues the tradition and actually refines the cushioning further compared to the 27. It removes the slight mushy softness on landing that some felt in the previous model, making it just perfect for long-distance performance running. The stability also feels noticeably better, thanks to a wider base and tweaks in the midsole geometry. The lacing has improved too, the tongue is softer and more comfortable now, and even when you lock in the heel using the last two eyelets (to reduce pressure on the toe box mesh), the tongue sits more securely and plush without any bunching.
