Sony's second Mini LED television might not be the slimmest, but can it make up for that through dazzling force of personality?

What do you want from your next 4K TV? If you say something along the lines of "a big screen, with big specs, that doesn't cost especially big money", you're probably in the majority. Sony seems to think so too, which explains the existence of the new XR65X95L.

Remarkably, this 65in LCD is the smallest in a three-model range-75in and 85in versions are also available - but we can all agree it's a big screen. Its specs are big too - certainly judged by its asking price. You're getting Mini LED tech providing almost 500 individually controllable dimming zones; support for all major HDR standards apart from HDR10+; a load of features for console owners, including 4K @ 120Hz and a gaming options menu; and a stack of wired and wireless connectivity.

But it's by no means your only option - so what, if anything, would make you throw your cash Sony's way?
