The dark knight of the gaming laptop world is back with a slim new look and intimidatingly beefed-up insides...

THIS IS WHY WE CAN HAVE NICE THINS Razer Blade 16 (2025) £tba/go.stuff.tv/Blade16

Chanty hero

For the full experience you'll want to use your headphones, but the new Blade 16 has an array of six speakers with support for THX Spatial Audio.

● Cool thrummer

Razer has a reputation for building the stealthiest gaming laptops around, and that's in no danger of changing with the arrival of the 2025 version of the Blade 16.

At 14.9mm, it's a considerable 32% thinner than last year's model and officially Razer's skinniest gaming PC ever, which is largely down to the cooling system. Its dual-fan approach uses thinner fins, more heatsinks and a new 'thermal hood' that's better at getting rid of hot air.

● Blank pace

The 2024 Blade 16 runs on Intel silicon, but this one can be fitted with up to a Ryzen A19 HX 370, with 12 cores of Zen 5 goodness running at up to 5.1GHz, backed with as much as 64GB of RAM.

Of course, a meaty processor needs equally beefy graphics, and you get that in the shape of Nvidia's new GeForce RTX 50 Series, which should make the most of the 16in QHD+ OLED screen with its 240Hz refresh rate and 0.2ms response time.

● Snake it off
