They say imitation is the greatest form of flattery. Clearly inspired by the MacBook, the Mi Notebook Pro could fool even the best of us if placed next to a Mac. The good part? Well it looks beautiful!

The chassis uses aerospace aluminium alloy and the laptop feels top-notch. Xiaomi has managed to keep the weight down to a measly 1.4Kgs, which makes it a great travel buddy as well. The laptop feels extremely plush and well-built and even the hinges are well-damped.

The laptop sports a 14in IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It gets a matte treatment and that helps with reflections, but we found it a bit troublesome when working on it in the bright outdoors. However, colours and tonality are fairly judged, but we wouldn't bank on it to do any professional colour grading work.
