The 'R' series was introduced by OnePlus to serve as a mid-range alternative to the flagships, and it's a role that suits the device lineup rather well. The 13R features the now one-generation-old Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is still a pretty solid option as far as performance goes.

While the OnePlus 13R gets a triple-camera setup as well, it's an entirely different set of cameras. There's also no Hasselblad optics here, the sensors are different, and camera performance is decidedly in line with the pricing, although you can do better from some similarly-priced devices such as the Vivo V40 Pro.
