Google's not reinventing the wheel with the Pixel 10 Pro, instead it's bowling a familiar googly. On the outside? It's basically the Pixel 9 Pro in a sharper tuxedo. Same camera bar, similarly tall screen, just fancier trim. But look closer and you spot the tweaks slimmer bezels, silkier matte back, dead-on aluminum frame, and yes, that 10th-anniversary zing. Google's buzzing with excitement, and you've caught its infectious energy. What matters is whether all that hype actually adds up to something meaningful or if we're just enjoying the ride. Let's break it down.
The frame is “spacecraft-grade aluminum,” and while it’s a smidge thicker and heavier, it still feels premium and solid. Design-wise, calling it evolutionary is generous. Think of the Pixel 10 Pro as the 9 Pro finally at the tailors. The back's smoother matte finish makes going caseless tempting (until common sense steps in).
Brighter days
The 6.3-inch LTPO Super Actua OLED display adapts between 1Hz and 120Hz and punches up to 3,300 nits brightness in sunlight. Outdoor visibility and HDR pop are no longer dial-up struggles. The Pixel 10 gets a 6.3-inch OLED too, but less sharp and without the LTPO.
