Oppo Enco Air3 Pro

The Oppo Enco X series has the X factor (excuse us) but the Air series hasn't been much to write about. The Air Pro series bridges the gap between this disparity. It's like the cool, collected middle child of the audio family.

Is that a new colour? I don't know how I feel about it...

Ah! Apart from the new colour, which even we are slightly confused about, there's no major design changes that the Air 3 Pro has gone through. And that's a good thing. We've come to like the form factor and the fit, finish and general quality of it is pretty good.

I heard it has some new bamboo stuff in it... What's that all about?

Yup, you heard right. The Air 3 Pro features an Industry-first Bamboo-Fiber diaphragm dome that is lighter, more rigid and more elastic than conventional materials. This translates to tighter control and ability to handle the frequencies!

Wow! That sounds cool! But does it sound cool?

Now that depends on a lot of factors. The new Air 3 Pro also support the LDAC Bluetooth codec which makes a huge difference, then there's the tailor-made Golden Sound tech that performs a hearing test and compensates the frequencies accordingly. There's also presets to adjust the output. All these factors considered, we do believe Oppo's claims about the new diaphragm being better and contributing to superior quality compared to a more traditional paper or metal unit.
