In a landscape teeming with choices, let's see how this device distinguishes itself from the competition?

This smartphone, to begin with, is a stunner. The vegan leather back and round camera module gives it a premium look especially because of its competitive pricing. The golden fluted bezel and central line add an extra touch of flair. Its sides and camera frame are golden-hued. Our review unit was blue, so the combination looked pretty chic. However if you are a minimalist, forget what we just said.
In my two weeks with the device, binge-watching shows and videos has been a joy. The size is just right for on-thego content consumption, and the vibrant colours add that extra pop. While outdoors, the display adapts for legibility.
Photography-wise it nails the details and keeps colours natural with minimal correction. Portrait mode, with 3x zoom, renders images with a shallow depth of field. With Pro mode you can experiment with ISO, focal lengths ranging from 16mm to 71mm (0.6x, 1x, 2x, 3x, 6x), shutter speed, and WB settings. Videos? 4K at 30fps rear, 1080p at 30fps front.
In day-to-day use, the phone runs rather smoothly. However, while using Instagram as a content creator there is a bit a lag. The in-display fingerprint sensor is mostly responsive, it's not the fastest.
Extended Support
The smartphone runs on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 out of the box. It offers extensive customisation options. Plus, Realme promises two years of OS updates and three years of security patches.
