Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

Boots-on-the-ground Bwarfare has never been Black Ops' style, and the sixth game in Call of Duty's shady sub-series is no different. With your squad disavowed by the CIA, there's a mole to track down, weapons of mass destruction to recover, and an international terrorist group to take down.

Business as usual, then.

The epic set-pieces and frantic shooting galleries are also the norm for a CoD game, but the variety of gameplay certainly makes for a refreshing change of pace. An early stealth level could have come straight from Splinter Cell, while the next brings a Far Cry semi-open world with vehicles and optional objectives. Completing them - and finding money caches along the way - lets you buy abilities nicked straight from the multiplayer mode, such as faster reloads and sprint stamina.
