Dr Arpandev Bhattacharyya, Consultant Endocrinologist at Manipal Hospital and Shivajoyti, Bangalore, is one of the distinguished figures leading the medical frontiers in diabetes and hormonal disorders with a proven track record of three decades in the field. Dr Arpandev Bhattacharyya's journey in medicine began in a small town near Kolkata. Born in September 1961 of Saraswati Devi and Joydev Bhatatcharyya, he excelled academically, securing a place at North Bengal Medical College through the competitive Joint Entrance Examination. Graduating with top honors, he was awarded a University Gold Medal for his MBBS degree. Driven by a passion for internal medicine, he joined PGIMER, Chandigarh, where he completed his MD Medicine and DM in Endocrinology, further enhancing his expertise with a DNB in Internal Medicine.
