The idea behind the Zenbook Duo range is simple: unite OLED touchscreens with a hinge, then allow a physical keyboard to either rest on the surface of the lower screen to make it into a standard clamshell or lift it off, unfurl the builtin stand and effectively turn it into an all-in-one PC.

This year, the design sees tangible improvements, including Asus' “Ceraluminium” materials that combine a tough aluminium construction with a durable and attractive ceramic-style finish. Even in dark grey, it looks great. Most of the body of the hinge has been cleverly recessed inside the unit, reducing the gap from 25.3mm last year to 7.6mm. It's still visible if you're watching a video or working in one window spanning both screens, but it's much more immersive than before.
