An improvement on the old model but not the most exciting Chromebook Plus device you can buy

2023's Chromebook Plus 514 was at the crest of the initial wave of Chromebook Plus devices, and now returns with updated internals: farewell AMD Ryzen 3 7320C, a big welcome to Intel's Core 3-100U.
In other respects, changes are limited. It's slightly smaller, with a footprint of 316 x 227mm, while the two-tone plastic lid has been switched for aluminium. There's some flex here, but nothing major, and the mostly plastic chassis passes a few of the MIL-STD-810H tests for durability.
