The inexplicable cosmic event in survival horror RPG Look Outside is like an eclipse—you shouldn't look at it, but people do anyway. At which point they start transforming into body-horror monsters, covered in eyeballs or teeth or with their skin turned inside out.

Our hero did not look outside and has to survive the 15 days before someone turns the sky off and then on again to get it back to normal without leaving his apartment building. His apartment building, which is full of people who did look outside and are now turning into practical effects from a David Cronenberg movie.
