The perils of not getting enough screen time, exposed

Have you ever played that Mario game on the Switch where the plumber starts in 3D then plays 2D levels set into the walls of the buildings he explores? Offscreen inverts that, starting as a 2D game with 3D sections you can access after your robot gets a chip upgrade.

First, it needs to be said that the Steam demo of Offscreen installed with its language set to Russian. This caused it to be less than easy to play until I worked out how to set it to English with the aid of Google Translate on my phone. Even then, some parts used the Cyrillic alphabet, but this is a demo version of the game and we can forgive that sort of thing.
