TEAL evolved from watchmaking into the aerospace and semiconductor industries. What key manufacturing and automation investments enabled this growth?

Our origins lie in the machine-building and precision manufacturing excellence of the watchmaking industry. Over the years, the company has invested in cutting-edge automation technologies, including robotics, vision systems, SCADA, PLC, MES, and Industry 4.0. In precision manufacturing, we have made significant investments in 150+ modern multi-axis CNC machines, specialised surface-coating technologies, nondestructive testing, robotic welding, 1000-class clean rooms, semiconductor-grade cleaning facilities, and world-class metrology systems.

The company operates four large facilities totalling 700,000 sq. ft., with three units in Hosur and one in Chennai. Drawing on deep precision engineering expertise, TEAL evolved by learning from customers and reshaping its internal mindset and culture. This transformation enabled the creation of seamless, world-class processes that have positioned our manufacturing services division among the most trusted suppliers globally. A major part of this journey involved extensive training programs and a cultural shift within the organisation.
