CLEAR HAS BEEN a favorite to-do list app for iPhone users for years, and it's just undergone a major refresh. It's made Clear one of the most interesting task-management apps on Apple's platforms.
Let's start with its bright, bold design. Each task is written in chunky lettering and is set against a gradient background. It's highly customizable - you can change the theme, the sounds and even the fonts used.
As you tick off more tasks and work your way through the app, you unlock achievements. The idea is to encourage you to stick around, but they aren't just empty gestures - some unlock different themes and app icons, for example, giving you a tangible reward for exploring.
