Hyundai Contributes to Nation-Building

Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) has solidified its role as a champion of social responsibility with two major donations: five Stargazer Premium units to the Philippine National Police (PNP) and two additional H-100 units to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). These initiatives underscore Hyundai's commitment to empowering institutions that serve Filipinos.

Strengthening the PNP’s Mobility

On November 27, 2024, a ceremonial handover of five Stargazer Premium units was held at the PNP National Headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City. The event, attended by HMPH executives Jiho Son (President), Cecil Capacete (Managing Director), and Hongshik Chin (Chief Finance Officer), was graced by PNP Chief Police General Rommel Francisco Marbil and other senior officials. This latest donation represents the second collaboration between Hyundai and the PNP, following a 2023 initiative where Hyundai provided two years of free Periodic Maintenance Service (PMS) for the PNP’s fleet of Hyundai Patrol Cars.
