The LG StanbyME is not your average television. It is a 27-inch portable touchscreen TV on a rolling stand that challenges the conventional notion of how and where we consume content.
When I first unboxed it, I was unsure about its target audience. But as I began using it, the LG StanbyME transformed from an oddity into one of the most adaptable and enjoyable tech devices I've ever experienced. Priced between ₹50,000 and ₹60,000, it offers a unique blend of portability, style, and utility that makes it stand out in today's gadget world. Here's my detailed review after spending ample time with this innovative product.
DESIGN AND BUILD QUALITY
The LG StanbyME showcases premium craftsmanship from every angle. The 27-inch screen has a matte finish, which enhances its viewing angles and reduces glare, making it ideal for various lighting conditions. The back of the screen is integrated with a fabric-like material that adds a touch of elegance. It also houses the power and volume buttons and an NFC area for quick phone connectivity.
What truly sets the StanbyME apart is its rolling stand. The screen sits atop a height-adjustable stand with smooth-rolling wheels at the base, allowing effortless movement across rooms. With a gentle push, you can roll the TV from the living room to the kitchen or bedroom. Adjusting the height or orientation is equally intuitive. Just a light push or twist transforms it into a vertical display.
