Influencers are the talk of the town! Gone are the days when the aspiration among the young was to become an astronaut or an engineer.

EXHIBIT THE CREATOR'S COUCH EPISODE 1

Now, people want to have their own space in the world of social media. Content creation is one of the biggest industries of the world right now and every year we see more and more influencers emerging. In this oversaturated market, it is easy for people to get blindsided by the glitz and glam. This is where the idea of Exhibit's Creators Couch hit our Editor-in-chief Ramesh Somani.

Ramesh Somani (RS) sat down for a conversation with Tech YouTube Star Gaurav Chaudhary (Technical Guruji), Moto Vlogger Jatt Prabhjot, India's leading first-gen creator Larissa D'sa, and Instagram/TV star Faisal Sheikh (Faisu) The conversation was carried out predominantly in Hindi and below we have some translated excerpts from this talk which aims to make our audience aware are about the social media landscape. Check it out below-

SOCIAL MEDIA & MONEY!

RAMESH SOMANI: So, the whole objective of this conversation is that we have the fourth edition of our InfluencEX awards going on and we wanted to educate our audience about where the world is heading. Content creation is dominating the global market and churning out big numbers. Many people are stepping into the world of content and content creators have a big responsibility on their shoulders. Youngsters watch content creators and get easily influenced by them. This conversation aims to provide a social commentary on social media influencers and their influence!

Starting off with Gaurav, I will ask you this question and it's up to you whether you'd like to answer it or not. I would like to know the one YouTube video which has been the highest earning for you.
