Introduction: Curiosity piqued, we decided to put AI to the test and asked it to generate jokes for us. The dawn of AI humour: Artificial intelligence has made significant progress in various fields, from healthcare to finance, but humour seemed to be uncharted territory until recently. With machine learning algorithms and vast datasets at their disposal, AI models like ChatGPT are becoming increasingly adept at understanding and generating human-like responses. Armed with this knowledge, we eagerly posed the question to AI: “Tell us a joke!”
