In a landmark stride toward inclusive and technology-driven public healthcare, Kerala has become the first state in India to deploy robotic rehabilitation at the primary healthcare level. The installation of Genrobotics Innovations' Robotic Assisted Gait Trainer, 'G-Gaiter,' at the Noolpuzha Family Health Center (FHC) in Wayanad marks a transformative step in bringing cutting-edge medical robotics to rural and tribal communities.

The robotic rehabilitation facility was inaugurated by Smt. Veena George, Minister for Health, Government of Kerala, under the Chief Minister's Wayanad Special Rehabilitation Package. The initiative underscores the state's commitment to bridging healthcare disparities through innovation and inclusivity.
