Kusam Meco has recently launched two advanced models, KM 131D and KM 891, designed to provide high-precision measurement capabilities for industrial applications. The KM-131D stands out due to its microprocessor-controlled design, which allows it to quickly and accurately measure the thickness and sound speeds of various materials, making it a highly versatile tool for industries such as manufacturing, construction, and energy.
One of the key features of the KM-131D is its ability to measure materials like metal, plastic, ceramic, and glass, all of which are good conductors of ultrasonic waves. The instrument is particularly useful for monitoring the condition of pipelines, pressure vessels, and other critical parts used in industrial settings. It provides essential data for assessing the corrosion levels of equipment over time, helping industries to prevent failures and extend the lifespan of their assets. The measuring range of the KM-131D spans from 1.00 mm to 225.0 mm, which covers a wide variety of thickness measurements needed in diverse industrial applications.
