How has KPTL's April 2024 rebranding enhanced NABL compliance while expanding testing for corrosion-prone infrastructure, such as bridges and pipelines?

We acquired a new name at the beginning of its fiscal year 2024, replacing the previous name, Surface Engineering and Coating Consultant (SECC), which began providing Paint Testing services in 2018. This modification was necessary due to the NABL's new compliance requirement to have a firm registered as a Pvt. Ltd.

KPTL is presently popular among leading paint testing companies, contractors, research and development facilities, and government agencies. The figure depicts its progress throughout its existence. We presently have 103 NABL-approved standards (ASTM, ISO, DIN, and ID).

In what ways do your weathering and chemical property evaluations address climate-induced degradation in mining equipment coatings?

Mining equipment is severely deteriorated by weathering, resulting from continuous exposure to severe climatic conditions, which causes corrosion, material fatigue, and electrical failure. This results in more frequent breakdowns, lower performance, and higher maintenance expenses. Some of the factors include:

Water and humidity are the main causes of corrosion and rust. High humidity accelerates corrosion on metal components, particularly when combined with high temperatures. Water leaking into hydraulic and lubrication systems can compromise the quality of operational fluids, leading to poor performance and seal failure. Furthermore, moisture can cause bulk materials, such as fine ores, to become cohesive and sticky, resulting in clogs in chutes, hoppers, and conveyors.
