The demand for high-capacity chains in India's cement and mining sectors has increased significantly due to the National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP).

The NIP now includes over 13,000 projects with investments of more than ₹185 lakh crore. This has led to major growth in cement grinding capacity, which is expected to rise by 160-170 million tonnes between FY26 and FY28. The mining equipment industry is growing at a 12% CAGR. Capacity utilisation is nearing 70%. Cement companies are investing ₹1.2 lakh crore in new facilities, greenfield plants, and brownfield expansions.
