IT'S DARREN'S WAY FOR ROMANS

NEW Bath City boss Darren Way says the thorough recruitment process has allowed him to take the job with eyes wide open.

The Romans have appointed the former Yeovil Town manager as replacement for Jerry Gill, who left last month after seven years in charge.

As a player, Way was part of Yeovil Town’s legendary side that won the Conference title in 2003 and also achieved promotion into League One.

The 45-year-old – who has completed his UEFA Pro Licence – was part of the club’s coaching staff when they won promotion to the Championship and later went on to manage the Glovers for nearly 200 games between 2015 and 2019.
