BUXTON followed up successive wins with victory at St James Park as Brackley Town failed to notch a tenth successive home win, going down to Dan Ogwuru's 25th-minute goal.

"Obviously we are disappointed with the result but it just felt a bit like one of those days today," Brackley manager Gavin Cowan said.

"We felt we deserved something from the game but credit to Buxton who hit us on the counter once and were full of energy as we knew they would be." Saints keeper Jonny Maxted had barely a shot to save but it was the Bucks who provided a move of quality to produce the solitary goal as Luke Brennan broke quickly on the left and his cross was neatly met by Ogwuru finishing past Maxted.
