DANNY COLLINGE struck twice as Barnet cruised past Southend, made it 12 league games unbeaten - and kept hot on the heels of leaders Forest Green.

Dean Brennan's Bees put three points between themselves and York City, who lost to Sutton, and remain a point behind Rovers.

Two headers from defender Collinge and an own goal from James Golding saw the Shrimpers lose for the first time in 2025.

"It was a colossal performance," Brennan said.

"Even at the end, I see Harts (Anthony Hartigan) nicking the ball back inside our box to make sure we get a clean sheet.

"It's the same as Tuesday, our mentality is spot on.
