BRYANLY’S late penalty kept Bury top of the tree in front of another record-breaking crowd at Gigg Lane on Boxing Day.
A whopping 5,834 turned out as the Shakers twice came back from behind to draw 2-2 with Ramsbottom United in a clash of the North West Counties League Premier Division’s top two.
Rammy’s Luke Sephton converted in the 18th minute despite the hosts looking for an offside flag but DJ Pedro quickly levelled.
Turner snaffled United’s second nine minutes before half-time, but Bury applied pressure built in the second half with the leveller coming six minutes from time. Rustam Stepans had a shot blocked by a stray arm with Ly doing the business from 12 yards.
