BULLS CHARGE INTO ISTHΜΙΑΝ

ELLIOT POWELL believes Jersey Bulls have the island what it has been “craving” by finally securing promotion to the Isthmian League.

The Bulls boss led his side to a 2-1 Combined Counties League Premier Division South play-off final victory over Cobham on Wednesday night to secure a place at Step 4 in his first season in charge.

They swap places with rivals Guernsey at the higher level following the Green Lions’ relegation with the club, only formed in 2018, confirmed for the South East division for 2025-26.

Initially, Jersey looked to have won the league title in April but a points deduction saw them forced into the play-offs, along with Redhill who had finished as runners-up and also fell foul of league rules.

But eventually — the Bulls got over the line having done it the hard way, beating Fleet on penalties in a much-delayed play-off semi-final last weekend before edging out the Hammers.
