SUPER Sittingbourne are the toast of Step after disposing of 4 a higher-ranked opponent for the third time to reach the last 16 of the FA Trophy for the very first time in the club's 140-year history.

Second-half goals from Richie Hamill and Henry Sinai deservedly sent the Isthmian South East Brickies through to the last 16 at the expense of a Salisbury side whose only shot on target in the entire ninety minutes came via Ronan Silva's penalty deep into stoppage time.

It completed a SEVENTH straight victory in the competition for Ryan Maxwell's men, who have already knocked out Step 3 trio Bognor Regis Town, Dover Athletic and Winchester City en route, plus now National League South pair Enfield Town and Salisbury.

"What a day for the club and our supporters," beamed Maxwell, who signed a twoand-a-half year extension to stay with the Kent club last month.
