BESWICK LEADS QUORN QUARTET IN NPL HONOUR

QUORN romped to the NPL Midlands title with over a century of points, so it’s no great surprise they have the biggest representation in the division’s Team of the Season.

Managers’ votes were tallied to pick the team, though no-one can question Quorn player-boss Ryan Beswick’s selection in midfield after a stand-out season.

Joining him in the starting XI are teammates Tom Allsopp, Mason Frizelle and Silvio Bello, while Zac Goodson makes the bench.

Perhaps surprisingly, Long Eaton United, who finished fifth, have the second highest number of starters with three - Ryan Campbell-Gordon, Liam Loughlan and Evan Garnett.
