TITLE-CHASING Barnet extended their unbeaten league run to 15 games as a fifth clean sheet on the trot helped the league leaders extend their lead over York City to six points.
Callum Stead's 36th-minute winner proved the difference between the sides but Bees boss Dean Brennan was under no illusions that his side had been asked a lot of questions by a team they had beaten 7-0 at The Hive early in the season.
"Tamworth forced us to make challenges, blocks and fight for the points today," Brennan said.
"We defend from the front but Owen (Evans) has been forced into action and we've had more corners against us than in any other game this season. It was difficult and challenging so full respect to Andy Peaks. This is an intimidating place to come to."
