AFC FYLDE boss David Longwell has urged his side to keep believing afyer they moved to within one point of escaping the relegation zone by defeating Forest Green Rovers.

Will Hugill gave the hosts the lead in the first half, firing home a rebound-ed Gavin Massey strike to give his side the lead heading into half-time.

Harry Davis then made it two, early into the second half pouncing on a low cross from Nick Haughton and the provider would have his share of the goals eight minutes later firing in a fierce strike from range to wrap up a superb performance.

"They showed the fight and desire and that commitment to win games of football and I'm delighted for them and the staff," said interim head coach Longwell.

"We've got to keep believing that we can get through this, it won't be easy, but we've given ourselves a really good chance and we just have to look at what we do and focus on that."
