Vincent keen to finish job
BURNLEY boss Vincent Kompany has urged his players to finish the job and clinch the Championship title after securing promotion with seven games to spare.
Friday’s 2-1 victory over Middlesbrough at the Riverside saw the Clarets bounce back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
But Kompany – who won ten major trophies as a player at Manchester City – says silverware would make that achievement all the sweeter.
“I’m so happy for the players,” said the Belgian, whose side are 11 points clear of second-placed Sheffield United with seven games remaining.
