Sentosa in Singapore is regarded as one of Asia's finest golf clubs and has staged a number of elite tournaments through the years, including the men's and women's Asia-Pacific Amateur Championships.

SENTOSA - SERAPONG

It has also hosted the Singapore Open, the HSBC Women's World Championship and LIV Golf, all three of which return in 2026.

The club, situated on the recreational island of Sentosa, dates back to 1974 and is home to two high-quality layouts – the Serapong, considered Singapore's top course, and the Tanjong.

The Serapong opened in 1982 and was originally designed by Ronald Fream before a 2007 remodelling by Bates Golf Design. Its routing takes you out to and along the Singapore Strait, where you're greeted with views of the city skyline, including the world-famous Marina Bay Sands hotel.

Signature holes include the long par-5 4th, which doglegs left around a lake, and the straight par-4 5th, which plays towards the water and the city. The course is packed with dramatic holes and stunning views throughout, with plenty of water and large bunkers in play. The club welcomes visitors and is well worth adding to your bucket list.

I can't believe we're here again, but somehow The Masters is just around the corner. Big tournaments come so thick and fast at the start of the year that you blink and suddenly Augusta National is on the horizon.
