GRAND OPENING

The iconic Grand Hyatt Singapore opens its doors after its multi-year renovations.

To say that the Grand Hyatt Singapore on Scotts Road is an icon in the Orchard retail district is stating the obvious. Since the 70s, the stalwart hotel in the heart of the country's premier shopping precinct has been the emblem of prestige and, in no small part, a place to see and be seen.

After a multiyear redevelopment, it hopes to rekindle and revive some of its illustrious past while reinventing and reintroducing itself as a contemporary haven of wellness and meaningful luxury.

The reopening is built around the new Grand Wing, relocated Grand Club Lounge and refurbished 10|Scotts. Last year’s unveiling of the Terrace Wing introduced the hotel as a tranquil, nature-inspired retreat. Now the Grand Wing and Grand Club offers 699 redesigned rooms and suites, seven dining concepts, an extensive wellness hub, and 16 event spaces.

Designed by Tokyo-based studio Strickland, all 407 rooms of the Grand Wing now feature open-plan spaces with warm walnut flooring, Peranakan-inspired accents, and striking Patagonia Stone in the bathrooms.
