POC CYTAL LITE

A stylish but pricy helmet that sacrifices protection for weight saving and ventilation
£320 | 195G (M)
Taking its inspiration from the POC Cytal and Cytal Carbon, the Lite version features a low-density EPS (expanded polystyrene) liner, accompanied by a scaled-back shell to cut bulk and weight.
Comparing it side by side with the standard Cytal, you can see that there are not only more air vents, but they have also been redesigned to filter the airflow over the top of the rider’s head. There’s a noticeable additional row of air entry ports compared to the other two Cytals, with the 23 vents - 17 entry and six exit - creating a pie lattice-like look to the design.
This is paired with the same ‘integrated wing’ found in the other Cytal versions, which helps direct airflow through and around the lid, enhancing overall ventilation. However, this time it loses any hardshell protection on the rear sides and back.
