The Austrian mounted a speedy steed for the Tour's opening stages

Felix Gall heads into this year's Tour de France in a period of form, finishing fourth overall in this year's Tour de Suisse. For the 112th Tour de France, Gall leads his team, Decathlon-AG2R, hoping for an improvement on last year's 14th place overall.

Protected by Aurélien Paret-Peintre and Bruno Armirail the Austrian leads a strong team this year, and with the latest Van Rysel RCR-F - developed in Lille, where the race started this year - under him, his confidence should be high.
