Lighter and much, much cheaper than their £5,480 Lightweight Obermayer EVO rivals

Newmen, the official wheel providers for WorldTour team Intermarché-Wanty, have revamped their range. This Streem Climbing Vonoa model has caught our eye, not because of the snappy name, but because of the high spec.

The aerodynamic, hooked carbon fibre rims are 35mm deep at the front and 38mm at the rear. They measure 29.5mm externally and 22mm internally, and are optimised for 28 to 30mm tyres. Newmen lace them to minimal Fade R hubs with Vonoa Aerowide carbon spokes.
