Indian captain Rohit Sharma has continued to enter record books in terms of hitting sixes. The veteran batter reached newer heights over the last few months. He attained different milestones (sixes) in the Indian Premier League, T20 cricket, international cricket across formats, T20Is and now the ICC T20 World Cup. In a high-octane ICC T20 World Cup Cup 2024 semifinal 2 clash against England in Guyana, Rohit joined Chris Gayle in terms of becoming the second batter to hit 50 sixes in the competition's history. Meanwhile, Rohit also surpassed Mahela Jayawardene to become the batter with the most fours in the competition.
