The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will resume their hunt for their maiden Indian Premier League (IPL) title in the upcoming season. Before that, they will have to put together a strong squad at the IPL 2024 auction, which will be held in Dubai on December 19. They retained 17 players ahead of the auction and traded in two players - Mayank Dagar from Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Cameron Green from Mumbai Indians (MI). They released 11 players - Wanindu Hasaranga, Harshal Patel, Josh Hazlewood, Finn Allen, Michael Bracewell, David Willey, Wayne Parnell, Sonu Yadav, Avinash Singh, Siddharth Kaul and Kedar Jadhav. After announcing their list of released and retained players, RCB have Rs 23.25 crore left for the IPL 2024 auction. They can fill up a maximum of six slots, three of them overseas. On that note, let’s analyze five players RCB could target at the IPL 2024 auction.
