Tanveer heading for another championship

2nd consecutive victory for Mysuru's Abdul Wahid Tanveer

Mysuru's Abdul Wahid Tanveer topped the podium for the second consecutive time and now leads the championship, with only the final round remaining in Chikkamagaluru.

He took the lead from the MRF Mogrip FMSCI National Rally Championship for two-wheelers, held on the outskirts of Coimbatore. The two-stage rally totaled over 51 kilometers after being run twice in the forward direction. Petronas TVS Racing riders occupied the top four positions overall. Tanveer won with a nine-second lead over his teammate Samuel Jacob. Rajendra RE finished third, 27 seconds behind, while Imran Pasha was fourth, a further one minute and 26 seconds back. R Nataraj from VM Motorsports finished fifth, 18 seconds off the pace, and Arun T from Hero Motorsports Team Rally was sixth, another five seconds behind.

In the Super Bike Pro Expert up to 500cc Group A class, the overall top three Tanveer, Samuel, and Rajendra also secured the podium.
