Researchers have produced the most detailed evolutionary tree of birds ever.

An evolutionary tree is a diagram that shows how different species are connected to each other by evolution (the process by which living things develop from earlier forms). They contain "branches" connecting the different species and often look a bit like trees, although this latest one is very complex, with lots of branches.
