India and MBDA share a long history of partnership in equipping the Indian Air Force (IAF), dating back to the early days of air-to-air missiles. Throughout its history, the Indian Air Force has relied on MBDA missile systems to provide the latest air combat performance across various aircraft types. With a strong reputation as a reliable partner supporting the IAF for over 50 years, MBDA understands the significance of operational capability to protect sovereignty. Underscoring this is the IAF's recent use of the combat-proven SCALP cruise missile.
The SCALP stealthy air-launched cruise missile forms part of the Rafale weapons package. This potent weapon gives the IAF a flexible tool to conduct deep strike missions at long ranges against even the most protected of hostile targets. The combat-proven effectiveness of SCALP in such scenarios is unrivalled.
