Vineethvarma Vegesna's Journey with Tiny Planets, Stereo Cards, and Anaglyph Photography

I am a software developer by profession, innovator at heart, and photographer by passion. I come from an agricultural family in Tadepalligudem, Andhra Pradesh, where I live with my parents, wife, and 1.5-year-old daughter. Photography has been part of my life since childhood, beginning with my uncle's Yashica Zoomate and Nikon Coolpix 4100. During family trips, I loved capturing moments we later printed as 4x6 photos. Using prize money from college projects, I bought my first camera, a Sony Cybershot, and later upgraded to a Nikon D5600 with prime and zoom lenses.

Over time, I added new tools, including three 360° cameras—Samsung Gear 360, Mi Sphere, and Insta360 One R and a 3D camera, the Kandao QooCam Ego. Each opened new ways to capture and relive memories. Photography is my therapy; it refreshes my mind and helps me see familiar surroundings in new ways.

Beyond photography, I enjoy exploring IoT, 3D printing, AR, and AI, often blending technology with visual art. Printing my photos bring me special joy. There is something magical about holding a 3D image in your hand, a tangible fusion of art, emotion, and innovation.

Tiny Planets

Tiny Planets are imaginative circular images that transform panoramic photos into miniature worlds. By wrapping a 360° panorama into a circle, the sky forms the outer ring while the ground becomes the planet's surface, creating a dreamlike, surreal effect. I capture panoramas using a 360° camera or phone, then process them through apps like Tiny Planet, 360° Camera App, or Photoshop's Polar Coordinates filter. These images shine best as large prints and remind me that, with the right perspective, even the ordinary can become extraordinary.
