MASTERING SMARTPHONE PHOTOGRAPHY: 14 TIPS AND TRICKS FOR BEGINNERS TO ADVANCED PHOTOGRAPHERS

The quality of the cameras in smartphones continues to improve, and many people are taking advantage of this to take great photos with their phones. In this article, we will share some tips and tricks to help you take better photos with your smartphone camera.

1.CLEAN YOUR CAMERA LENS

It probably sounds obvious but before you can even think about taking photos, the first and most important tip is to keep your camera lens clean. A dirty lens will affect the quality of your photos, and it's easy to forget to clean it, especially if you're using your phone all the time. Make it a habit to wipe your lens with a clean microfiber cloth before you start taking photos.

2. USE THE GRID LINES

Most smartphones have an option to display grid lines on the screen when you're taking photos. Often these are turned off by default so be sure to enable them in the settings. These lines help you align your shots and apply the rule of thirds, a basic principle of photography composition. The rule of thirds states that the subject of your photo should be placed along one of the grid lines or at the intersection of two of them, instead of in the center of the frame. This will give your photos a more balanced and interesting composition.

3. USE THE VOLUME BUTTONS AS A CAMERA TRIGGER
