A START AS A PRACTICE TO A NEVER-ENDING

My zest for street photography, documentaries, and life began before I became a professional photographer. It all started when I got my first iPhone. I used to photograph whatever intrigued me on the streets. This practice increased after I got my first Compact. Every photo presented a new opportunity for me. My passion for travel photography and documentaries coexists with my love for street photography. It is almost impossible to separate them.

Being extremely busy with my photography, videography, and studio commitments for the latest two-three years, it has been challenging for me to find time to pursue street photography. Nevertheless, countless unopened folders of street photographs still exist in my drive.

Street photography is undoubtedly the best way to experience life. It has helped me discover cities, and streets, meet people and see life in unexpected ways. I mostly prefer to go alone, although I have a good time when I go with people.

Before moving to Singapore, I lived for a few months in Thailand in Chiang Mai, and it is where my love for street photography first began.
