Warning over repeat prescriptions deadline

Patients are being urged to get their repeat prescriptions ordered to make sure they have enough medication to get them through the festive season.

Falling behind on a repeat prescription not only puts patients at risk but adds to the pressure on NHS services. GP practices and most pharmacies will be closed during the bank holidays over Christmas and new year.
