With three months to go, M&S launches its festive food guide

When Perry Como sang about it beginning to look a lot like Christmas, he probably wasn't talking about September, writes Kate Wobschall.

And while the big day is precisely three months away today, M&S shoppers can already order in their festive feasts.

No sooner have the Back To School signs been taken down in stores than retailers have us thinking about the festive season.

M&S is probably the first of the lot - it announced on Instagram on Monday that more than 90 "magical masterpieces to make the ultimate Christmas feast" would be available to shoppers.

M&S's 2025 Christmas collection will feature a mixture of new products and traditional favourites, with slots already available for booking.

Its website urges shoppers: "Get set for your most magical festive season yet with our restaurant-quality, fuss-free Christmas Food to Order service.

"Our Collection Free Range Irish turkey makes a succulent centrepiece, while melt-in-the-mouth potatoes and tender vegetables make wow-worthy side dishes.

"Browse chocolatey desserts and irresistible puddings to complete your celebration, and book your free store collection on 23 or 24 December."
